Anyway, I got into Nairobi at around 9pm on Sunday March 2, after spending 24 hours in 3 planes and 4 airports. I saw 2 movies on the way there and 2 other movies on the way back and one other movie both ways. Debby talked me into buying a Gameboy to occupy my time and I found out it’s a great way to attract kids. Unfortunately, they tend to write over your scores so it can be a little frustrating. All in all, I think I slept a total of an hour and a half on the way there, maybe.

Shauna Erin

Ayla I was met at the airport by Bob, Ayla, Erin and Shauna. I was not stopped by customs – they appeared to be on their coffee break. And it was really great to see the smiling faces of the girls. They’re all such cute kids! Each one has their own personality and it was a pleasure to be with them all. I still miss them and, just for a moment, realize what Debby and I are missing by not having little ones about.
