Visitors

July 2001

We were expecting visitors for the July 4th weekend. My brother and his family were in the states this summer and he wanted to see the cabin. My sister, Linda, also decided to come visit at the same time. Deb and I went up the day before to get things in order. Good thing we did cause the cows are beginning to take a liking to the place. Here I am "gathering fuel."

Heres some pictures of the folks. I didn't get too many pictures because I was too busy having fun. We went to the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest and we were able to see Mesa Redonda from the south end of the Petrified Forest. We took a hike up the Mesa and had squirt gun fights. And while we spent a few hours inside listening to the rain, we still had fun.

Linda's husband, Mike, did most of the cooking. My sister done good when she married him. I'm disappointed that I did not get pictures of Linda. I have a picture of their son, Joe, when he visited in April.
