Betty and Bob's 50th Wedding Anniversary

	Bob continued his sailing excursions at Lake Roosevelt. He also took up leatherworking and made belts, wallets and handbags for everyone and even won blue ribbons at the Arizona State Fair for his handiwork. Years later, his hands failed him with arthritis and neuropathy.
	In Phoenix, Betty joined the Sunnyslope Christian Church. She landed a Human Resources job at the Montgomery Ward in what was Christown Mall. Both Bob and Betty instilled an excellent work ethic in all four of their children.
