Betty and Bob's 50th Wedding Anniversary

In 1961, Bob landed a job with Boeing in Seattle, WA. The family lived in Burien Heights for two years and were very active in a local church. Unfortunately, the climate was not agreeable with Bob's health. He developed allergies , especially to fir trees and mold. So Betty sold what they could, packed up the rest, and moved back to Akron to look for work.
